100% George Mazonakis
George Mazonakis was born in Nikaea and has been singing professionally since the age of 15. He attracted Polygram records' attention during his night-club performances in the city of Patra in the summer of 1992.
He stood out immediately as a very passionate and original performer. His first record, released in 1993, was entitled "A Little After Midnight" (Mesanichta Ke Kati). But it was not until his next album in 1994 under the title "Say It With The Eyes" (Me ta Matia Na To Les) that audiences realized that Mazonakis is not the one-hit-wonder type of singer.
The album was a commercial success as it contained at least five songs that became hits: "Say It With The Eyes", Don't Ask Me (Mi Mou Zitas), "Nothing" (Tipota), "Three In The Morning" (Tris To Proi), and the anthem like "I Belong To Myself" (Aniko Se Mena).
